Oh, and speaking of trailers – yeah, that “Dukes of Hazard” trailer was on the appalling side for me. I barely remember the old escapades of the cousins, but weren’t they like the Robin Hoods of Hazard county, not just the local thrill seeking yokels? Tom Wopat and Luke Schneider might as well be shaking their heads. Heck, the idea of Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg just doesn’t make sense (he’s Burt Reynolds, not a guy who’d look appropriately Hogg-ish). Why did they make the movie is a sad question indeed.

Oh, and I’m amazed by the trailer for “Serenity,” the big-screen movie of the FOX-cancelled tv show “Firefly” by Joss Whedon (the man who made Buffy and Angel). The trailer captured the idea of the show (which I couldn’t watch since FOX had in bad timeslots and early cancellation, which even discouraged anyone more), and made it look really fun. Well, fun to me, anyway.
